Terms of Service

These terms set the conditions for using the game Bangchi (Windows PC, Android) and its official site (trpgnovel.com), together "the Service", provided by the Bangchi team (방치 운영팀, "we"). If this English version and the Korean version differ, the Korean version applies.

Effective date: October 13, 2026

1. Effect and changes

  • By using the Service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, stop using the Service and remove the game.
  • When we change these terms, we announce the change in the site news and through in-game mail at least 7 days before it takes effect, or 30 days before for changes that are unfavorable to you or otherwise important.
  • If you do not agree to the changed terms, you can delete your account and stop using the Service.

2. The Service

  • Bangchi is free to download and play. It is currently run as a test service, and nothing is sold for money.
  • Gold, Crystals and items such as weapons, pets, battle pets and costumes can only be used inside the game. They cannot be exchanged for money, sold or transferred to other people.
  • To balance the game or fix bugs, we may change numbers, odds, rewards and items. When we change odds, we update the odds page (Korean) and the odds screen in the game together.
  • The Service may stop for a while because of maintenance, outages at our service providers or natural disasters.
  • If we end the Service, we announce it on the site and in the game at least 30 days in advance.
  • If we start selling anything for money, we will add terms on payment, cancellation and refunds and announce them before they take effect.

3. Accounts

  • When you start fresh, an account that works only on that device is created. When you link your account with an ID and password, you can continue on other devices and appear in the ranking.
  • You are responsible for your ID and password. If you forget your password, there is no way to recover the account.
  • Only you may use your account. You may not sell or lend it to anyone.
  • You can delete your account in the game under SetupAccount or by following the account deletion page. Deleted accounts and progress cannot be restored.
  • Children under 14 should use the Service with a guardian's consent.

4. What you must not do

  • Gain progress, currency or ranking unfairly with macros or automatic input programs, or by modifying game files, saves or network traffic
  • Repeatedly exploit a bug you know about. If you find a bug, please tell us by email.
  • Post insults, hate speech, harassment, obscene content, advertising or other people's personal information in chat
  • Pretend to be us or someone else, or use another person's account
  • Disrupt the operation of the Service, break the law or infringe the rights of others

5. Restrictions

  • If you break section 4, we may, depending on how serious it is, restrict your chat, remove you from the ranking, take back progress and currency gained unfairly, or suspend your account.
  • We check chat reports ourselves.
  • If you disagree with a restriction, please tell us by email. We will check it and tell you the result.

6. Rights and posts

  • The rights to the art, text, music and programs of the game and the site belong to us or to their rightful owners. You may not copy, distribute or modify them without our permission.
  • You are welcome to take screenshots of the game or stream it to introduce it.
  • You are responsible for what you write in chat. We may delete or hide posts that break section 4.

7. Liability

  • We try to provide the Service reliably. However, we are not liable for outages without intent or gross negligence on our part, for problems caused by your device or internet connection, or for damage caused by your own fault.
  • If your progress or currency is lost because of our error, we will check it and restore it or compensate you through in-game mail.

8. Personal information

We process personal information according to the Privacy Policy.

9. Disputes

  • If a dispute arises from using the Service, please contact us by email first. We will discuss it in good faith.
  • These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, and lawsuits are filed with the court that has jurisdiction under the Korean Civil Procedure Act.
